Ingram Content Group (ICG)is hiring for a�Sr Manager, International Sales to join our Commercial Sales team in our�London or Milton Keynes, United Kingdom offices.

This individual will work closely with the Director, International Sales, to implement Ingram?s UK & US Wholesale sales and strategic objectives for UK, Europe and Middle East regions, while also managing sales team and own portfolio of accounts. Direct oversight for sales team?s revenue and business development in these markets. Works cross functionally to accomplish key Ingram strategies and growth.�The ideal candidate will have book industry�or CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) experience as an alternative with solid leadership experience, and prior experience selling into UK and EU territories.

The ideal candidate will have the following minimum qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in sales
  • 3+ years sales team management experience
  • College / University degree required

We have a preference for:

  • Publisher / book industry experience preferred, but relevant sales experience considered.
  • Ability to travel 25-30%�
  • Proven track record in previous sales role.
  • Knowledge of principles and methods for promoting and selling products or services
  • Requires sales focused and customer centric approach.
  • Must possess effective oral and written communication skills and be computer literate.
  • Must be able to manage workload by establishing priorities; be detail-oriented; and possess the ability to operate successfully within a fast-paced environment.
  • A flexible approach to work, hours and being adaptable to change are critical attributes.
  • Adherence to deadlines and meeting key deliverables.
  • Interpersonal skills / Influencing / negotiation skills.
  • Critical thinking, analytical, time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lead a team and to develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with others and maintain them over time.

The Sr Manager, International Sales key responsibilities are:

  • Manages sales team responsible for US & UK Wholesale in UK, Europe and Middle East to achieve sales and profit margin targets.
  • Increases company?s market share in UK, Europe and Middle East marketplaces, across all sales channels.
  • Manage own portfolio of accounts to generate revenue and reach profit margin targets.
  • Identifies, analyzes and implements plans to meet business? needs to achieve growth in markets.
  • Works cross-functionally to ensure business? strategy objectives are reached.
  • Reports to Senior management regularly on progress toward company?s sales goals.
  • Effectively communicate company?s unique selling position among industry stakeholders.
  • Participates in the planning, implementation and participation at industry trade shows (i.e. Frankfurt Book Fair, London Book Fair, and other regional specific shows)
  • Provide regular customer, competitor and market feedback to management as required.
  • Ensures sales team maintains high post-sales satisfaction and is facilitating positive long-term relationships and high potential for repeat business with customers.
